Why have you completely abandoned fans of the original series? You've focused so much on making Halo 4 "your own game" that you seem to have lost the Halo feel along the way. Just because a game has the Chief and a bunch Halo weapons and vehicles, that doesn't make it a "Halo game". You need to also preserve the feel of a Halo game and to do that you must preserve the Halo gameplay aspect and not "dumb it down" either. Not flaming here, just asking why you guys decided to make an entirely new game that doesn't really feel or look like Halo and still call it Halo. Also, this is my opinion and would prefer not to be attacked by others who disagree with me as I have been in the past. Just asking 343 a question.

@ Trigger Happy M:  I'm incredibly stoked for Halo 4.  I think the changes 343i has made are going to take a great game to even greater heights.  I scheduled a much needed vacation from work for that week.  I'm picking up my preorder at midnight, sleeping for a couple hours then heading out to vote before I disappear from the face of the earth to enjoy the hell out of this game.

I'm by no means attacking you,  I'm simply countering with a positive statement because I think 343 could use a little bit more positive comments from excited gamers and Halo Veterans.  But just for future reference if you piss into the wind, it's going to come back in your face.  I'm not saying voicing your opinion is wrong, I'm just saying that you should expect responses when you do.  And back in the day, when I was a wee lad, the best gaming advice I ever received was to reserve judgment on any game until after I've played it.

Can't wait.  It looks awesome.  Thank you 343 for your passion and hard work.

Yeah, it did kinda lose a lot of its Halo feel. Gamplay-wise, it's pretty kickass. The eye-squinting, twig-armed enemies that are the Knights, Master Chief's visor design so he looks pissed off all the time, the similarities between Halo 4's score and your typical movie's score...

Not here to rant though. Halo 4 is going to be awesome, it just has to make a few sacrifices to Halo to make it a 343i game. Still pre-ordering though.

Abject Demiurge, thank you for being respectful and I guess I have to wait and see. On a side note, has anyone looked at the new war games screenshots and if so, what in the heck is that last pic of? Part Spartan 4, part strange zombie? I can't have been the only one to look at these screenshots. What the heck are they?

The new pic is a new "Wargames" mode called "The Flood". I can only Guess and hope it will replace Infection so that you can be flood as well as a Sparten player.

Damn Those flood skins must be bound for the new infection gametype on halo 4! Imagine how satisfying it is to clip that claw into an enemy n see im gettin consumed by flood infection plus i suppose they added a new sick assassination move...something like stickin that crab claw on a dudes backs and hav it struggle on the ground while he gets transformed ! that would be sick

So excited. However a couple of worrying issues I noticed Kiki say; key words like "Hopefully" and "maybe" were said ALOT during the whole video. Bungie didn't say "maybe this will work" or "Hopefully they like this", they said things like "Hell yeah we're putting that in!" Not bashing Kiki Wolfkill's (Love her name by the way!) and 343 Industries carefully said interview in any way. just stating that they should grab the perverbial Bull by the Horns, you guys are making a new Halo! Say "Hell yeah we're putting that in because why not!" Be proud of the outside-of-the-box thinking! release it upon the world, and if some people don't like it...Well they dont't need to buy it, do they?

Trigger Happy M, just interested in finding out how you know Halo 4 doesn't really feel or look like Halo? As someone who played C.E on Xbox1 at launch, and every other iteration since, it certainly "looks" like Halo to me, and from all reports from pro Halo players that have had a chance to play the MP (not for 5 mins but considerable lengths of time) it also "feels" like a Halo game.  Did you manage to get a "real" copy of Halo 4 that no-one else has seen?

yea. i kinda feel the loss of something...essential, a feel from the original trilogy. But one the other hand, although this was supposed to happened (i mean come on, it's 343, not Bungie any longer)and the fact that the game reminds me a little of mass effect, I think it's worth the wait, why? because no matter how much of a feel a franchise can give us over the years, a change of hands is good, taking from the fact that SW was seemingly ruined in the Prequel trilogy, but at least painted a picture of what it must have been like to be in that era, in that situation. On an end note, thank goodness for the flood outfits, I cant wait to jump out of my seat bc some "body" just came out of nowhere and killed the living hell out of my spartan...or vice versa.

I'm just glad they put the BR back in. The DMR wasthe Yoink!test weapon in the world. My opinion is that the BR WAS halo multiplayer. Campaign looks better than ever!!! Can't wait.

It looks like it could use some work, but overall it looks like a pretty good game. The only things I don't like are no brutes, no arbiter, and not a lot of the original music. Besides that though, it looks like this is going to be a kick ass game that a lot of people will like.
