Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Episode 1

From SenadorKooch:

I had the opportunity to have an early look at the first episode of the Halo web series Forward Unto Dawn so here’s my thoughts on it. For those that don’t know, Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn is a live-action web series set in the Halo universe and will feature Master Chief and other characters that will appear in Halo 4. It takes place at the start of the human and Covenant war and leads up to the events of Halo 4.

Halo fans will love Forward Unto Dawn, but anyone should be able to watch, especially those that like sci-fi. It's not over the top and everything feels grounded. Prior Halo knowledge isn’t necessary, but for fans there’s lots to pick up on and it's right at home in the Halo fiction.

I found myself watching with a giant grin that didn’t let up. The ending implies some awesome stuff is about to happen, and I’m excited to see where the series goes. This is Halo live-action done right and I can’t wait for more.

I no longer use Flash, Silverlight, or Java. I don't like being tracked.

Please make future Forward Unto Dawn episodes in HTML5 or continue seeing a paltry 15,000 hits on Youtube.

Thanks,
a big fan

This show is so awesome and I cannot wait for more. The only thing that could be better is if they decided to do a live action show for the ODST's too. I friggin love ODST's haha.

I loved it, and I feel like the series is just going to get better with each episode. However, over on comicbookmovie.com there was a great deal of people bashing on it, and bashing on 343 Industries. Needless to say that pissed me off because it was just alot of stupid fools running their mouths off on things they knew little to nothing about.

It's great that this series will be included in the limited edition of Halo 4. It's great to see the fiction come to life on a larger scale. I hope that one day we will get that Halo movie that we've all be waiting for.

It was an awesome episode.  Between Forward Unto Dawn and Greg Bear's Forerunner books there should be enough to keep me from having a stroke between now and November 6th.

30 days, 12 hours and 35 minutes...

Wake Up John.
