Well I am going dark the only viewing I will be doing for Halo 4 will be on Halowaypoint. Great job 343i cant wait to be holding Halo 4 on November 6.

I already know the premise behind the game, but I dont want it to be ruined for others, so whenever I see live streams or videos, I report them usually on the first 2 levels, and they get shut down before the 3rd. as the spoil nazi would say: "No Spoil for you!"

Gonna be very careful to avoid spoilers, as well as occupy my time with one more playthrough of the previous games!

Give those lowdown, no good leakers a hit from The Banhammer for me!

Some jerk is ruining it on every halo youtube video he can find, too late now.

Going dark, sad to see all the amazing work done by this fantastic team being thrown on the internet for all to see prematurely. I love 343, and we should respect their work by not spoiling it ahead of time, and also we should respect ourselves in the fact that spoiling this also counts us out of a truly amazing experience come launch day, I won't be one of those people.

And now my hibernation begins until the night of November 5th, the time of the midnight launch at my local GameStop.

I honestly dont see the purpose of Pirateing...  I am Glad to say i payed $100 For a game that a wonderful team like 343i has made.  Games arent meant to be stolen.  They made these games for us to enjoy, and they need their paycheck at the end of the day, thats why they make them.  Not so people can steal the game and leak news about it...  a whole lot is clear to me now, because my one XBL friend said that a friend of his got a Halo 4 Limited Edition Console already...  and he lives in canada...  i thought somthin was fishy about it...

I agree. Its nice to know a little about the game before hand but sometimes its too much. There are plenty of "Halo" things to do before launch; Halo reach, Forward unto Dawn etc. As a matter of fact I'm about to play some reach right now.

Yeah, it's true that there's many people around leaking and streaming pirated and unjustified copies of Halo 4, but I think we can still all agree that we're very proud of the dedication and effort that 343 Industries has imbued into this wonderful, and spectacular sight which we all know and love to be Halo... Thank you 343.

Definitely going dark. And it doesn't have to be 343 employees, they get independent testers out to play the game, it's fully possible they managed to obtain a copy/ record it. Similarly I imagine by now they've started shipping out globally, only takes one goon to crack open a shipment and ruin everything :/

I am quite frustrated at this moment. I pointed out a leaked video and gave its link, and informed the mods but I got SUSPENDED FROM THE FORUMS? What is this blasphemy? I am quite dissapointed!

Yoink!in asshats, I love everything Halo..I just got a self made tattoo with three halo symbols (BS Angel, you should have got my email the other day)and will I Yoink! let some dicks ruin the game I have been waiting so long for. Love you guys at 343, the CE remake completely rekindled my love for Halo so much that I read all the books including Greg Bear's awesomeness and now onto Grasslands. Cannot wait for Nov 6, I have already booked a few days off just for it...bye bye girlfriend and the world for them few days!!!

Anyway back to the problem...I am going dark until Nov 6 because I actually appreciate the time and effort you guys have put into the Chiefs return.

I've known many of the main details about the campaign including one pretty cool thing that I won't mention about the Infinity for the last few weeks. Pretty cool stuff.

I actually made a bet with someone knowing that Valhalla was the remake map. He bet me $10 that it was Sandtrap....let's just say I won $10. I haven't actually played it yet but I've been in Xbox parties with people who were playing it at the time and its actually made me quite excited to try it out for myself.

I know a guy whos in the friendlist of a friend of mine, and he played the HALO 4 CAMPAIGN on LEGENDARY TODAY!!! I will admit, Halo is the only video game universe that has literally sucked me into it and thrown me into the largest interstellar conflict I've ever seen. I've been attracted to said universe ever since I fell into Halo 3. I have read all the books, done all my research, and am now looking forward to seeing my new home aboard the UNSC INFINITY. The thing that excites me about Halo 4 is that with Reach I was able to kind of figure out the plot line. Not because it was bad mind you, just because we all knew the out come of the battle. The Reach story while predictable was a tragically romantic tale of a small team fighting to very end to defend the last best hope for humanity. Halo 4 I know nothing about. It's exciting. I have no idea what the outcome is.

I look forward to November 6th. Not because of election day. Yoink! THAT Yoink!, cause we all know it'll be the same old Yoink! as before. I'm looking forward to it because I will have a whole day to get lost in the Halo Universe again.

i will honestly say... i could care less about story spoilers... but what i don't like are multiplayer map spoilers (that is if your like me and wanna play H4 for not just the story but multi also!)

I was looking into an halo 4 trailer for the Mantis, and it was instead the ending to the game. when the video started i knew something was wrong. but still, i couldn't stop looking. i stoped after like 3 min, but from what i saw was amazing.
343 you have my respect for making the best halo game ever  !

Looks like google is losing my business for a few weeks. I've been waiting longer then I knew it was confirmed, not gonna ruin it now this close.

I was going to go semi-dark.  I figured getting my only Halo info only from here should be safe, but I'm afraid it's time to say goodbye everyone.  Not even Waypoint is safe.  I'll pop in every Friday for Forward Unto Dawn and work on finishing Primordium.  Plus the soundtrack comes out very soon.  You guys have done an amazing job and have busted your asses.  The majority of us appreciate it beyond measure.  Thank you 343 for letting us peak in during your journey.  And thank you BS Angel for being awesome.

As an admin of one of the leading Halo Wikipedia's, I think it's despicable that people could be so selfish that they would plaster all the biggest Halo Information sites with spoilers that would ruin any loyal fans enjoyment of learning long awaited secrets in a game. today I was mortified to see someone had uploaded a screenshot of the ending of Halo 4. Did I want to see it? YES. Did I want to see it now? NO. I enjoy waiting for such information, because it makes the arrival of such secrets worth the while and the wait.

Halo Information sites shouldn't be a no go for Halo fans! Halo fans should be confident that visiting their favourite sites will still maintain the safety of their innocence. If a user really wants to know spoilers, they should have to look for it, and not have it thrown in their face. 343i, I'm so glad you've taken this approach on such actions, and I will be supporting you all the way, with 100% cooperation!

Its to late I've already been told. There is no escaping this leak. Too many people know and are just blurting it out on videos that don't even relate to Halo for fun. Those rat bastards.

No story can be spoiled or ruined if it's a well told story. I'm not going dark I love Halo and I play campaigns by myself with a bowl of ramen noodles and an ice tea all the time....besides with my era "The VCR" we learn how to watch movies over and over again without remorse. I highly recommend perusing the Halo/Halo 4 tags on Tumblrs -- there are TONS of people there spoiling anything and everything that they can.

I seen some features but when I realised that it wasn't offical I turned my friends PC off and told him that it wasn't offical cos the guy speaking never said anything proper about what he was showing (such as the map Complex he was getting it mixed up with Adrift etc)
Come on 343i stop anyone else showing spoilers, unless they're offical (IGN, Gamesradar etc)

On YouTube someone left a comment on the new things you can see in it and as soon as I read one thing I rushed to the X on the page, I don't see why people just can't wait till November 6th.... Well I can't but I dont want to ruin it for my self and everyone else, I still rember goin on halo 3, ODST and reach for the first time and I love the feeling, everything new and fresh!! If I have a choice between a new 343 halo game, and a new Bungie game, I'm going with the bungie games. The games from 343 seem ACCEPTABLE, however they in general seem inferior to bungie. Lots of the problem isn't that they're making mistakes, is that thet're making the same mistakes AGAIN. In forge, they again are making us work on painted canvasses. and this time they appear to be even more detailed, and even smaller so that we can't even work in the skyboxes anymore. In infection (it will always be that, NEVER flood) they again give the zombies evade, (fixable, but displays the 343er's incompetence), and they've made whole NEW mistakes here: we can no longer give zombies different weapons, thus destroying tons of customizability in the gametype. With the ordinance meter, It's just another way to make matches even more one sided. And OF COURSE!!! The removal of firefight. Spartan Ops looks cool, but if firefight is the price to pay for it, then Ops can go die in a ditch.

I like the new guns, and custom loadouts will be fun, but still. Anyone can do that. If I want that I can just play Raze 2 or Plazma Burst 2. Oh, and of course there is the fail of making matchmaking canon. Here's a secret, 343: NOONE GIVES A DAMN. It may have seemed like a good idea at the time, but it restricts what you can reasonably put in matchmaking. It also means no elites, whch is small, but lots of people enjoy being a powerful sangheili. And possibly the worst thing of all: ther change to grifball. No explosions!! How dare they! It destoys one if the founding principles of grifball: even if Grif scores, he still dies. How dare those bastards. Not to mention that rounds not ending allows a dominant team to grab the ball on the spawn and score it before the other team can reorganize. To be clear, I'm not a 343i hater. I actually used to support them, but then I confirmed that they at the very least appear to be true incompetents. Thank you for your time. craZboy557, signing out

I won't gp dark but I will not read comments on vieos and only look at RUL and Halo4Follower videos. Also IGN and other major compaines.

at least when we do get to play it we'll be able to wreck each other and have a blast getting all our new strategies set up for the multiplayer maps.

Here´s my advise for you people! If I told that the ending is this or that, or that MC did something or whatever I can come up with, would you believe me? NO. My advise is not to believe everything you see on forums comments etc. I saw a spoiler comment on youtube and to me it simpply didnt make any sense, that means that even if it is true Ill have to play the campaign to find out and I'll still be surprised even if the spoiler was true.

I think now would be the best time to play through all the Halo campaigns, from Wars to 3.

I just watched the making of Halo 4 video: Multiplayer and I just want you to know that you are the (2nd) greatest game company out there and I can't wait for November 6. Also the guys that have the leaks are COD fans who are selling the game to Halo fans I think we all know what community and game is officaily better now since they are doing something illegal. Halo wins.

I must admit, I went dark on all Halo 4 related info since E3 .. I've been closely monitoring Waypoint though! xD

Now I have turned on the parental controls for all things Halo so I can no longer see anything about the game. A painful 25 days to wait.

Already reported several people on various websites(Especially Youtube)and got their leaked Halo 4 videos banned asap. I'm staying dark but my hunt for the leakers shall continue. Nice doing business with you, 343. ;)

I am one of those few who can watch video of a leaked game and still experience that game in my own way when I finally have a copy on the release date.  I have seen the first 20 minutes of the campaign.  I only have one thing to say.  With the exception of links and content posted by 343 on the main page here on Halo Waypoint, go dark.  343 has done a great job with the story just within those first 20 minutes and I can't wait to see the rest come November 6th.  Also, don't forget to vote.

I hate that this game is being leaked and that so many people have it now.... I really want to get my hands on the game but I don't want to risk it I have my limited edition pre ordered from june on amazon and I think it would be fair if we were allowed some form of digital download so we can at least play some part of the game now even if its just a small part of a mission

I don't know about this going dark business but the only source I trust for all my daily doses of halo is waypoint (and links posted by the admins of waypoint). Wouldnt pay a penny for a early copy of a game no matter how bad I want it. I respect the hard work 343i puts into there games and patiently (but definitely eagerly) await the release.
