    Halo 4 Pre-Release Live Stream Recap

    We rounded up players from the studio to bring you a sneak peek at some of the multiplayer goodness you will experience come November 6 and streamed the entire thing LIVE on Twitch.tv. Major Nelson and David Ellis popped in to provide commentary, as well as answer some community questions.

    Check out the video above* for a look at Infinity Slayer, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag and Extraction on various maps such as Haven, Complex, Ragnarok, Solace, Meltdown and Adrift!

    New ranking system - way dissapointed. I wanted to have social AND ranked. and just give me a visual please. How do I know where i fit in now....

    I watched all and i cant whait for halo 4....i am getting it at midnight launch...for you thats having problems watching it...when it freezs just fast faward.

    BPR through Waypoint should be a relatively accurate portrayal of ones skill level. Not to worried about a visual cue to rank, in my opinion it hinders the experience for me...but that just like my opinion man.

    I am quite dissapointed by the lack of visual ranking as are many competitive players and casuals as well. Ideally having a 1-50 ranking as well as a percentile rating in each playlist would have been very very cool. Cheating is only really a problem in high level matches, and to me it's well worth the risk although it can be very frustrating. If 343 could more effectively locate and ban cheaters an implemented ranking system would only be to their advantage. People like to see that they are improving, and you simply can't do that through K/D or a non visual true skill. Even a ranking system like blizzards for for warcraft 3 would be absolutely phenomenal. Ranking up is the funnest and most addictive part of the game. Without it the game gets old after a couple months. There needs to be a physical difference, something you can see, to differentiate between very good players and players who play a lot. And a progression system is just simply not able to do that.

    You have to watch it at either 1:17 or 3:43 or it wont work.(jk, wish I had a technical explination for why it freezes other than [network lag?]) 3 FULL DAYS LEFT TILL MIDNIGHT RELEASE! (4 if you cant make it to the midnight release which is totaly cool) Anyway see you in reqium! SpartanKurt051 out!
