Can you explain why specialisations havent been unlocked for me? I bought the limited edition version and used the code provided.

The game is freaking AMAZING guys!!!!!! love the campaign, spartan ops, and everything! my hubby who has been a fan since CE and is a die hard halo fan is very impressed wih everything and he LOVES it!!!! good job guys! me and my hubby are very pleased

Are you level 50? (SR50), if not, you need to reach that in order to unlock ANY specializations.

Please fix asap !

It's nothing like Call of Duty. There aren't any killstreaks - there are point streaks that aren't even that game changing. I don't know what you expected from a new FPS in this day and age. You "hardcore" Halo fans seriously need to let this CoD bias go, seriously.

As for multiplayer - it isn't occasionally going down, it's been down non-stop for the past 4-6 hours. Also it's happening to most people, not just a few. Apart from the clear issues there, this game has been fantastic. Online is fun and more importantly - fair and the Campaign was fantastic as well. Good job 343.

343 You guys did an awesome job.  Every game has its Day 1 Hiccups.   To everyone else........    Go make your own game and see if you do not have launch issues.    Take your First World Problems and Go Home!

I also have no idea how to get my specialazations working. I used the code and nothing happened. Also its not occasional. It is constant.

This is the exact same thing that happened on Reach launch day.  No real issue, and today will be the last time it ever happens...LOVE THE GAME.  Everybody who hates it or compares it to cod can just GTFO.

Favorite Halo since Halo 2. Great game. Loving multiplayer right now. Only problem I'm experiencing is I can't join my friends.

Please put the Phoenix Emblem back in that was my favorite emblem since Halo 3 please put it in. Or have I just not unlocked it yet?

You have to be Spartan Level 50 to unlock the specialisations..

Look, I appreciate 343 taking the franchise further, but to have this title DOA for multiplayer is upsetting.  Servers unavailable and unable to party with friends.  This technology isn't new and was nearly mastered with previous releases, why has the flawless Halo online interface been sacrificed?  Please accept this shortcoming and avoid terms such as "some players" and "occasional issues" it's insulting to the majority of players that are experiencing this.

Although i can understand peoples complaints as we pay for xbox live it is not free so they should use that money to properly stress test those services they are making millions off

To all the people comparing it to CoD and such, shut up. I think this game implemented stuff from different games, like the point streak, very well. Nothing seems to be the better "perk" or the better gun. Everything is well balanced and I just want to say 343i did an amazing job and can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the future.

I hope that this is not all of the gametypes in matchmaking . We need Swat for me to play .

Ya I haven't been able to get on to Spartan Ops hardly at all since like 6 hours ago, and seeing as there is no scoring in campaign I will probably be playing a lot of Spartan Ops.

343i you guy's did an awesome job on halo 4, I'm having problem with joining my friends matches, getting into a match and also my spartan that i customize wont show up in the campaign loading lobby and also multiplayer loading lobby and wont show the level I reach on my spartan, all my friends was having this same problem ...

servers suck, big let down on such a big day.

Your specializations aren't unlocked as in, you get to use them at level 1. What it is, is when you reach level 50 you can choose from all 6. 343 only has 2 for the others atm because they are gonna release the rest to us who didn't get legendary post launch. Its not a glitch and your money wasn't "taken"  its just you need to work for the specializations.

My service record is still showing my stats from only 2 games, even though I have played many more.

Why is there a level cap at 25? I am wasting my time and double xp playing to unlock nothing.....

PLEASE bring back Team Doubles as soon as possible.  My friends and I prefer that game mode over everything else.  Awesome job again though!

I have issues of the whole "players failed to load content". By this it basically mean the maps I just downloaded off disc 2 all of a sudden won't work when I was playing on them earlier. Do you think this is just due to the high player issue putting strain on the servers for me? It just seems to me like its more of the fault of the disc but maybe the loading of the content is all server side and its just due to that.

343 you guys have done an AMAZING job with Halo 4. The game looks and feels like a true Halo game. I am VERY impressed! great job I cant wait to see what you guys will do next with the halo universe.

I've played at least 20 or so war games tonight and cannot level up. It does not show my credits I earn. It's stuck half way through level 24. Hopefully it can get fixed.

i don't have the armors i unlocked from the limited edition anymore or my map packs or specialisations i really hope this is a temporary thing

i think ive answered this question 1000 times. you need to get to SR 50 before you get the specialisations.

please take xp cap off it ignoring if I play the game a Yoink! ton allow me to gain rank not stop me at 24 levels a day

I also losing my preorder bonuses or dlc every now and then when i turn on the game sometimes specialization are there and sometimes my battle rifle is there

My career still says that I have completed only 5 out of 8 campaign missions yet I have done them all and have received achievements for them. My Spartan on the Halo 4 stats is not the one I use, mine is white and red and the one shown is red and blue.

I have also completed all Spartan Ops on sole play and also co-op and the stats don't reflect this.

hey theres a bug i dont know if theyre fixing it but im not getting achievements for spartan ops

I'm still having network issues with matchmaking.  I have been very patient, and was calm yesterday, which by the way was launch day.  But to get up this morning start the game up and still experience networking problems is ridiculous.  Please fix this problem, it is ruining my Halo 4 experience.  To be so hyped and ready for this game only to find out later I'm having networking issues day 1.  This is uncalled for.

I would also like to address the Daily XP Cap decision you guys made.  Maybe you could please explain to me what the reason behind this is.  I'm sure you guys had a reason for putting that daily cap into effect.  I am trying to come up with a legit reason why you guys made this decision and I'm coming up empty.  Normally probably wouldn't effect me personally, since I don't have endless amounts of time to plug into a game.  But I took some days off to fully enjoy the Halo 4 experience and this decision is hindering that.  I hit my cap last night around 2100.  So from that point till the following day I wont be able to gain XP for anything I do.  Sure I can work on challenges and commendation, but if I complete them that XP earned wont go towards my progression.  Its food for thought, let us play and progress at our pace.  This game is for us not you, you made it for us.  Allow us to experience it the way we want.

Great game, but why oh why did you do away with the PERFECTION medal?!  Also, Waypoint has no good way to look at your whole medal chest.  

Suggestions ~ get team snipers up, bring back hybusa armors at Least the helm,bring back the katana body. Team swat also

Before the update I could view all Specializations, I have the limited edition version. Now when I look at the Specializations tab all I see is operator and wetworks which are still locked. What happened?

i am having an issue when i play whith two friends in a party in war games. almost every game starts 3v4 and many times the whole game stays 3v4 with the 3 people in my party playing aganist the other 4 players. this needs to be fixed, no game should start with uneven teams.

disc goes unreadable and it works fine on my brothers xbox and all my games work on mine

What about the mission 5 campaign patch

Please remove the XP cap, or at least expand it. The intensive to buy Mountain Dew and or Doritos is gone. I reach it after 4 hours of online play two days in a row now. It's pointless to play more when I won't earn XP and just lose my Double XP games. Fail 343. Not a good start.

I dont know if it's just me.. but I cant get any more xp points.. I say's "You have reached xp limit" and im only a rank 29.. -_-

343 you got to fix the armor ability for the "Dash" its not working properly !!!!!! THe Dash ability just move you like three feet and eats up all the energy.... And it was such a cool ability when I saw the trailers and videos for it. FIXXXX ITT !!!!!!!!

Hey guys still having some trouble connecting to games with a party ( all same household, does it matter btw?) Is this something being looked at? Any self-solutions or tips? We can all join games by ourselves and occasionally with 2 people in a party but all 4 of us cant get a game in infinity slayer or other games. Thx

This is my thing...  I bought the limited edition which stated that I could unlock the specializations at launch.  Great!!!  Then I notice they're locked and find out later that I must achieve level 50 to unlock them.  Okay, no problem.  But when I put all of my effort into ranking up to level 50 I get a message reading "online xp limit reached".  Now tell me, how the hell am I supposed to get a head start and reap the benefits of my early access to specializations if I can't even reach level 50 due to an xp cap???  And then I'm told that everyone that plays the game online before the 20th gets early specializations?  I can't help but feel like I've been scammed out of my money.

To answer Johnny I feel that way too. As you rank up the distance you have to go to move to the next level is horrible and I am just getting to 20.. I cannot play 100 hrs a week to get to SR50. That's ridiculous I have a life. I have 350 +hrs in skyrim and that was since last Christmas. No way I am hitting those time frames in Halo 4. Amazing game but you have to think we're not all 12 and can't invest that kind of time. Isn't that why we spent extra money on Limited edition.

I just started getting this problem now, i have been playing since wednesday and didn't have a problem till today. I have reset my router and my xbox and even put in a wired connection and left my xbox off for several hours and it still persists. My roommate has no problems when he plays in his room so i know its not because of my network.

how come i cant access my halo 4 file share on waypoint i sent two moves to my file share in halo 4 and now i cant access them on waypoint some one plz help its very aggravating maybe theres an upcoming update i don't know plz help somebody

Hey Guys, I habe been playing H4 since its release with no issues and now all of a sudden I get the Halo 4 Server is not available at this time for Spartan Ops, also ever since i got this error the matchmaking has been soooooo Laggyyy please resolve it ASAPPPP. Tried everything Xbox support told me to do and no dice, HELP.

My Loadouts keep reseting every so often, also, would like to be able to access my halo 4 fileshare from the website, furthermore, you need to redo the exile map for team slayer as the blue team is overpowered with their gauss hog seeing as they have immedate access to it while red team has to run for the tank, which easily gets destroyed if people use the guass hog properly, even going 50 kills to 6 deaths in one match

Ive played last night to reach level 70. i reached it and went to advance to the next specialization and there are no new ones. Today, ive started playing and am not receiving XP points and still don't have the option to advance? What do I do?

Best game ever. I hit the ultimate xp cap of sr130 today. Still so much more to do in the game. I like how it has me going back to older versions of Halo to unlock classified information.

I finished the game on legendary and achieved all the achievements however I still did not get the mark iv helmet. Will this be fixed? because I put a lot of time and effort in it. Please fix this. My gamertag is ChiefE1992 and my achievements act as evidence. Thanks
